La Kitan is a Dutch mother-and-daughter brand, born from our shared love of fashion, entrepreneurship and, above all, Morocco.

When we discovered Kitan, the thread our bags are made from, we immediately saw its potential. It is strong and durable, with endless possibilities. It works just as beautifully for a spacious beach bag as it does for an elegant evening bag.

Every bag is handcrafted by women in Morocco using traditional techniques, with care and attention to detail. Each one carries its own story, and a name borrowed from a Moroccan town or village.

Our designs are made for women of all ages. We wanted to create a collection that our friends would love just as much as our mothers, daughters and grandmothers. Timeless bags, made to be loved and worn by every generation.
